Welcome to Christ Lutheran Church! As a community of faith, we believe we have been brought together by a God who loves us no matter where we find ourselves in life or on our spiritual journeys.
Though we are a Lutheran church affiliated with the Evangelica Lutheran Church in America, our congregation is made up of folks from a variety of Christian backgrounds. We find this diversity greatly enhances our sense of community and challenges us to be open to the experiences of others.
We invite you to join us for worship as we gather to pray, to sing, and to receive God's promise of grace. For it is by the grace of God we are sent out to live into our common mission: to proclaim, "Christ Cares," and to "share the faith" with those we encounter along the way.
We gather for worship each Sunday at 9:30am followed by fellowship time. Our Sunday morning services typically include Holy Communion. If you are considering a new place of worship or are just looking for some rest in the busyness of life, we would love to have you be our guest!
Are you looking for a part-time role with lots of flexibility? Do you like working in a warm, caring, and collaborative environment? We have just the position for you! Christ Lutheran Church in is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work between 20 and 30 hours per week. We offer a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. If interested, please reach out to Pastor Daniel Grainger at 563-380-8451 or email him at pastor@clcquincy.org.
We gather for worship each Sunday at 9:30am followed by fellowship time. We're always glad to see new faces, so if you are looking for a church home, please come visit.
Face masks are optional for worship and anytime people are in the building. Masks are still available in the narthex for those who need one. However, it is now the flu season, so we encourage you to make regular use the hand sanitizer, and to stay home if you are not feeling well. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Daniel or the church council. (Updated 10-20-22)
